Every fall, the CBB programs holds a student retreat that is organized by the student committee with assistance from the program coordinator. The retreat is an opportunity for students to learn about each other's research, brainstorm solutions to scientific problems and socialize. All students are expected to attend and participate in planned activities.

Friday night we plan to have a potluck dinner and social at the Cottage House. CBB will provide the main course and everyone else will be asked to bring a dish to share. A food sign up sheet will be made available about three weeks prior to the retreat. Saturday will include faculty and student presentations, poster sessions, free time, and the banquet dinner. Sunday will include science workshops. A detailed schedule will be available in September.
Students: If you would like to bring a family member and request a hotel room, the extra cost will be your financial responsibility.
Faculty: The program will pay for ONE night. The second night will be your expense.
Transportation to the retreat will be your responsibility. Please consider carpooling. Contact Liz Labriola if you need help finding a ride.
